There was just a big meeting held by Paul Bradbury to discuss what Dalmatia needs to do in order to extend the tourism season year round in Croatia. I was in Hvar this week and it was nearly warm enough to lay out. It’s clear solutions are going to need to be enacted by the private sector first but hopefully the government will jump in and help. Otherwise Croatia will lose out to other countries courting travelers from around the world now free to live and work anywhere all year. If the Croatian tourism board can improve people will come all year.
